NCLAC Artist of the Year Exhibiting Works Across the US

Vitus Shell, Visiting Assistant Professor at the Louisiana Tech School of Design, being presented the 2022 NCLAC President's Award for Artist of the Year by NCLAC President Peter Jones and NCLAC Executive Director Marcie Nelson.

Vitus Shell, Visiting Assistant Professor at the Louisiana Tech School of Design, is showcasing his works across six states this year including Louisiana, North Carolina, Colorado, New York, Texas and Tennessee. NCLAC, partnering with the Black Creative Circle of North Louisiana, commissioned Mr. Shell along with Drek Davis to bring the Greenwood Community Center mural to life in December. Shell and Davis were both named the 2023 NCLAC Artist of the Year. A list of the exhibits featuring Mr. Shell’s works are listed below.
